Mr. Vijay Kumar Kankariya, Chairman
Mr. Vijay Kumar Kankariya is the founder of Shubham K Mart. He is a veteran in the Indian retail industry and is known for his strategic vision, humble attitude, and a ‘Customer First’ motto.
He began his journey by working in a textile shop at the tender age of 14, with his brothers and father. In 1984, the Kankariya family founded Sumeet Bazaar – an exclusive family garment showroom that has now grown to over 40 stores today. Over the years, Mr. Vijay Kankariya’s vision also led him to diversify the business and enter the jewellery and real estate segments with his brand – Sumeet Jewellers ad Sumeet Infracon.
Mr. Vijay Kumar Kankariya also noticed how customers were being exploited at the hands of retailers, even for essential items! This is what led him to establish Shubham K Mart – to make superior quality products affordable and easily available to countless Indians across the country.
At Shubham K Mart, he looks into planning and strategy, minimizing, risk and developing a strategic competitive advantage. He has set processes and systems in place for a smooth flow of operations and execution.
